  Guillem.

Just a side to the World Cup, I read reports in the English tabloids this morning that, along with all of the other stick the English team is taking, reports suggest that Fabio Capello could resign from the English job after the World Cup, particularly if they don't do well.

With that being said, and with candidates for the Liverpool job narrowed down to Hodgson and Dalglish, what is the possibility that Liverpool could possibly make a move for Capello should he resign from England?
Even though it would leave him with very little preparation time before the start of the season, look forward to hearing your thoughts.

  Hi Guillem,

Have you lost all interest in Liverpool now that Rafa has gone?
It just seems you have not reported about us for a very long time now, and yet so much must be going on behind the scenes at the club, regarding manager and potential buyers.
I understand your main focus will be the World Cup, but please try and find time to do an article on the current situation as it stands on Liverpoolif possible, with regards to the matters mentioned above. Your the only reporter which we can trust to give honest opinion and facts, so if you could provide us with some information I would be very grateful. Theres alot of apprehension and anxiety from fans at the moment, and hopefully a few words from you can ease it!

Thankyou!

Phil

  Brilliant that. Great insight. Not..

If you're going to say something then say something.

If Torres wants to go then dont let the door hit his arse on the way out. We finished 7th because the team were awful.. Torres, Mach. Carra, Grrard, Benny included - all season.

Rats off a sinking ship; take some responsibility rather giving platitudes in the press

Do you think Barcelona are prepared to offer some kind of swap deal? It's obviously not enough with just Ibrahimovic for Torres. What about Ibrahimovic+Yaya Toure and possibly Eric Abidal? Would Barcelona be prepared to make such a huge offer for Torres? I think Liverpool would accept.

Arsenal is not selling Fabregas and this has been made clear to you. Lining up your players and executives about Fabregas playing for you will not bring FABREGAS TO YOU.

Last season you said an agreement had been reached between Arsenal and Barca over Fabregas so what happened?

Lie.

'Public posturing.' LOL! barca fans crack me up. Arsenal have simply told you to f**k off, and rightly so. Mind you, you'll know all about posturing, given the way you manipulate the media and use players as your mouthpieces. And let's not forget the circus that is your presidential election. If if any further evidence were required that you're all living in a fantasy world, your headline provides it - suggesting a striker would be an alternative signing to a midfielder! Tell me, do you actually need any of these players or are you merely obsessed with collecting things?

And how much would they be 'happy' to pay for Torres?
Two bob?

Barcelona need to stop making fools of themselves (and you) in public and start doing things in a grown up manner.

A few weeks ago you were "absolutely certain" that Cesc was going to Barca despite Arsenal saying EVEN THEN that their player was not for sale, so their position hasn't changed . . . why has yours, or perhaps you still are certain??

Wow, you must have some top level contacts in the football world! Torres to Barcelona? Talk about lazy "journalism".

  Guillem,

How can it be possible that you say;

'Public posturing' by Arsenal FC!

Arsenal have done and said nothing other than responding to the one insulting offer for Cesc.

The media, you included, have made this transfer your goal and agenda. I know you crave this transfer....

I do not deny, Cesc does probably want to go to Barca. However, he is a smart lad and understands he signed a long contract with a top club.

Barcelona's behaviour and that of their staff/players has been despicible. I know that UEFA will not intervene as Barcelona are 'their'club and can make their own rules.

The sad fact is, that the joint media/Barcelona campaign will eventually win out until someone at UEFA is strong enough to stop this.

Truly Disgusting

Firstly, i thought you were not going to be commenting on this saga anymore?

Secondly, since when has Arsenal said they will sell Fabregas for a large fee? Have you just made that up? Perhaps your understanding of Englsih is not so good, but i suggest that you look again at the press releases put out by Arsenal. There is no suggestion that they wish to sell for any price. If you have information to the contracy i suggest you name your source. No, i didnt think so.

lastly, it is slightly insulting to suggest that the few statements put out by Arsenal can be considered 'posturing'. If any party is guilty of this, it is Barcelona, with hardly a day going by without another press release about how they are going to sign Fabregas.

If torres is to leave liverpool which he will be stupid not to I would prefer him not to go to any other english team, It will be to painful to see him in other english team colours playing against us and would prefer him to go to barcelona.
