Cesc Fabregas remains the number one transfer target for FC Barcelona, despite the arrival of a new president at the Catalan club.
Sandro Rosell, the winner of last weekend`s Camp Nou elections is clearly confident and relaxed over the matter that is turning out to be this summer`s biggest transfer saga.
However while Arsenal remain consistent in their public posturing that Fabregas will not be sold (other than for a record breaking fee) – the new man at the helm of Barcelona has little intention of paying more than €40 – 45 million for the Spanish midfielder.
If the two sides cannot reach an agreement over a deal for Cesc Fabregas, Barcelona will turn their attentions upon another big name transfer – and if Ibrahimovic can be sold, I would not rule out bid for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
